Firespark!
Firespark! is a summer program that focuses on the arts and humanities. Students spend
two weeks at Brenau University, taking classes in a variety of areas: fine art, dance,
theatre, music, mass communications and writing, among others. There is also a Medical
Scholars program for students interested in the sciences. It has been described as "the
best two weeks of your life." As a five-session Firesparker, I highly recommend this
program for anyone interested in exploring beyond the realm of general high school
education.

Nick Peterson Design
Nick Peterson is a very talented graphic
designer and ad-campaigner, specializing in
branding and logo creation. He received his
degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute
of Atlanta, and comes with my highest
recommendations.

Winship Studios
Summer Merier is an artistic photographer that specializes in on-site natural light
photography in the Atlanta area. She is also a collage or embellishment artist with varied
interests; which often blend resulting in something uniquely beautiful. She specializes in
special occasion photography, one-of-a-kind invitations, and handmade memory albums.
Summer is a fellow Brenau graduate, receiving her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in 2005,
and has always been an artist that I greatly admire.

Josh D. Weiss Photography
Josh Weiss is a professional photographer from Atlanta, Ga. He graduated from the
University of Georgia in May of 2008 and received degrees in Newspapers (with an
emphasis in photojournalism) and Sociology. Josh is available for all types of freelance
work in the North Georgia/Metro Atlanta area including, but not limited to: portraits, sports,
weddings, concerts, editorial work, bar/bat mitzvahs, corporate events, product
photography and other commercial work. I have had the privilege of knowing Josh for
many years, thanks to Firespark! and I am a huge fan of his work.

The Circle Within houses the creations of Chris Baschon, ranging from the more
traditional work: drawings, paintings, mixed media with a diversity of subject matter made
from a variety of art media, to the less traditional: mandalas. Her mystical creations,
through soul-searching, are very dazzling and unique. In addition to being a most talented
artist, I had the privilege of having Chris Baschon as my middle school art teacher, and
she really helped spark my passion for art.

talented, and creative human being I've ever met. I've often referred to her as my muse,
and her countenance graces many of my portraits. Her many talents include photography,
drawing, poetry and prose. I have known Alice for almost ten years, and she continues to
be the most interesting and fun individual, and Mississippi's most gracious hostess.
